I illustrate picture books for publishers and authors. Stories with emotional depth for readers 8 and up, above all about nature and animals, are where I do my best work.

Carried by the Wind

《風吹來的煩惱／風中的期待》雙封面繪本

A dual-cover picture book about two characters longing to be understood while struggling to reveal their true feelings.

After illustrating picture books for other authors, I wrote and illustrated this one myself. Making a whole book from the first word to the final file deepened my sense of pacing, page turns and how words and pictures work together, and I bring that to every story I illustrate for an author or publisher.

Studies

Pencil studies of posture, fur and feathers before any page is planned.

Character

A character sheet and the final designs, so each animal stays true on every spread.

Storyboard

Carried by the Wind has two covers and two storylines, one for the raccoon and one for the sparrow. One story turns from left to right, the other from right to left, and the two meet in the spread at the very centre of the book.

這是一本雙封面、雙主線的繪本：浣熊和麻雀各有一個封面、一條故事線。一條由左往右翻，另一條由右往左翻，兩條線在書的正中央交會。
